Oh Christmas Tree

One of the most fun parts of being newly married and having the holidays to celebrate, is that we get to merge our holiday traditions, and begin our own. While my family went to K-Mart, Home Depot, Target or similar convenient store, Kevin's family usually went somewhere where they could cut down their own tree. This was very important for Kevin and so I quickly got on board.

We went to a Christmas tree farm in Irvine to pick our our very first Christmas tree.

As you can see, there were lots of trees to look at and we embraced this challenge.

After looking at several, falling in love with a few (just to find out they had already been sold), we found the tree that we just had to have. This is Kevin tagging the tree, so that no one else could purchase our first tree...

Because of crazy schedules, and the holiday business, Kevin went to pick up the tree and brought it home to Stephanie. The next two days was spent decorating and making it just right. We love our tree and are so happy to have one to get us in the holiday spirit.

And of course, EVERY tree looks better with present underneath it.
