Naples Rib Co. and Christmas lights

For the last three years now, we have had the tradition of meeting up with the parentals for dinner and then walking the Naples loop for Christmas lights. This usually takes place a couple of weeks before Christmas and it's purpose is simple....to get into the Christmas spirit. This year was sans the Prince parentals due to the nasty flu, but the Liebels and the new Princes made the best of it ;)

As you can see, the houses here do not mess around with their Christmas lights. This is a very popular spot to visit and we enjoy it every year. There was one house however that really impressed us. Now maybe it is because we are obsessed with this movie, or maybe because it had a squirrel in the Christmas tree or maybe because it won the "Best Theme" prize of the year:

That's right folks...The Griswald Family Christmas.

Complete with:

Russ and the ball of lights...

Santa and his eight reindeer.... although Chevy had his choice words about this.

Grandpa in the chair and the RV with cousin Eddy "Sh*tter was full."

And the detail with the sleeve that had been ripped off.

We just had a blast and when we passed this house, we kinda felt like they did it just for us. I don't think anyone appreciated the detail as much as we did.  And, the Christmas spirit was in full effect!
