Christmas Eve was spent with the Liebel Family. There was Church, Prime Rib, lots of love and laughs. For us, the holidays are very important and we really cherish our time together because we all must remember that Andrew and Jayme are gone 8 months out of the year. Holidays are always a nice reminder to be grateful for any and all time together. We did presents and were up late hanging out before heading home.
Christmas morning we were expected at the Prince house at 8:30. This however was not going to put a damper on our first Christmas morning together. We got up early and as you can see, you are never too old to be excited about Christmas morning:
He is also rockn' the new Christmas PJs that we opened on Christmas Eve, one of our traditions we picked up from the Prince family and are carrying on for our new family.
We got golf clubs for each other, which was no surprise but we were both excited for our stockings!
We opened stockings and enjoyed our first Christmas morning as a married couple. Then it was time for showers and loaded the car up with presents to take to the Prince house. We arrived to a busy household and the smell of the amazing breakfast baking. We went directly for the coffee to caffeinate ourselves for the morning activities. There were lots of presents, an amazing brunch in which Aunt Donna and Uncle Bob joined us and then more presents with them.
It was a wonderful and busy holiday season and we wouldn't change a thing. We had lots of family time. Lots of great food. And mostly, lots of Love.
